Do you ship your products internationally?

Do you test on animals?

SLMD Skincare is proud to say that we are cruelty free!  We do not test on animals!

How long before I see results?

We offer the SLMD Starter Kit in a 30-Day supply because for some, it can take up to a month to see results. However, many people see a noticeable difference before the full 30 days.

Do I have to use the whole SLMD Acne System or are the products effective individually?

All of the products in the SLMD Acne System and the SLMD Body Acne System are great standalone products. However, if you are battling acne, we recommend you purchase the system as a whole to see the best results.

I really want to use SLMD Skincare but I don’t have acne. What shoud I try?

All of the products are safe to use if you don’t have acne, but the Salicylic Acid Cleanser, Retinol Serum, and both the Facial & Daily Moisturizers are GREAT for a regular, non-acne prone skin!

Do you offer product samples?

We are not offering product samples at this time but you can sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know of any updates.

Can I use your product on my body?

The SLMD Acne System was designed and packaged to be used on the face, which is why we developed the SLMD Body Acne System, which consists of a Body Wash and Body Spray that are have been created especially to treat body breakouts.

Do your products help with acne scars?

Although the SLMD Acne System is not formulated to treat scars, ingredients like salicylic acid and retinol will help improve the overall texture of skin and most importantly, it will help prevent new acne from forming! For a more aggressive approach of treating acne scars we recommend you consult your physician.

Are your products safe for teenagers?

Absolutely! The SLMD Acne System was designed to help people of all ages and skin types fight breakouts and prevent new acne from forming.

Are your products safe while pregnant? Or while breastfeeding?

Currently, there are no studies to prove or disprove this. Although the percentage of active ingredients in SLMD products fall within the over-the-counter safety guidelines, we do ask you to consult with your physician before using SLMD products during pregnacy or while breastfeeding.

Are your products safe to use if I have Rosacea or any other existing medical conditions?

If you have been diagnosed with rosacea or any other medical conditions, we ask that you consult your physician prior to using SLMD products.

Are your products safe if I have melasma?

Yes, the SLMD products are safe to use if you have melasma. However, it is absolutely imperative to use sun protection if you have melasma whether you are using SLMD products or not! Ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide and retinol can make the skin especially sensitive to the sun and can therefore result in even darker spots if sun protection is dismissed.

Do your products help with dark spots?

The SLMD Salicylic Acid Cleanser and Retinol Serum have the perfect ingredients to help with any discoloration. Both salicylic acid and retinol accelerate the natural cell turnover and in result, you get fresh exfoliated skin more frequently!

Will your products help with hormonal acne?

While hormonal acne is unpredictable and can be hard to avoid, the SLMD Acne System can definitely help alleviate cystic acne by making breakouts less inflamed and thus reducing risk of irritation and scarring.

I have very dry and sensitive skin, am I still a candidate for your products?

SLMD Skincare products are formulated to treat all ages and skin types. If you are using the SLMD Acne System or SLMD Body Acne System and are experiencing irritation, try using the treatments every other day for about a week or until you feel that your skin can tolerate the products. As you feel your skin getting used to the products, you can begin to incorporate the treatments every day.

For those that have known skincare sensitivities or allergies, we encourage you to try the BP Free Bundle — a special set that works hard to fight acne for even the most sensitive skin types. Regardless, always be sure to listen to your skin and don’t skip out on moisturizing.  Both the SLMD Facial Moisturizer and Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 are hydrating formulas that will help nourish and restore your skin.

Can I use the SLMD Acne System with other medications/acne products?

If you are on any prescription topical and/or oral medications, we ask that you consult your physician prior to using the SLMD Acne System.

Where are your products made and where are they shipped from?

All of our products are manufactured in the U.S. and shipped from our warehouse in Los Angeles, California. 

Do I have a tracking number? How do I track my order?

How can I fix my mailing address? I put the wrong information in. 

Orders are fulfilled within 48 hours of placing your order. If you made an error please contact customer service immediately at and we can try to fix it before it goes out.

My tracking says that my package was delivered but my order never arrived.

SLMD Skincare uses third party delivery services such as USPS, DHL, UPS and Fedex. You can find the specified carrier in charge of your delivery in your tracking information. If you haven’t already received your package, check with them first! If you need any further assistance, you can reach out to customer service at and we will help you file a missing package request.

We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Returns & Refund Policy

What is the return policy?

To be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The product was purchased in the last 30 days
  • The product is in its original packaging
  • The product isn’t used or damaged
  • You have the receipt or proof of purchase

Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a product are non-refundable. You are responsible for paying the cost of shipping and for the risk of loss or damage to the product during shipping, both to and from SLMD Skincare.
